
Dulce de Leche Chocolate Milkshake with Swirl Bread Churro Dippers

- • ¼ cup Coronado Dulce de Leche, plus more for drizzling
- • 2 slices Thomas’ Cinnamon Swirl Bread
- • 3 tbsp butter
- • 4 tbsp sugar
- • ½ tsp cinnamon
- • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- • 1/3 cup whole milk
- • 1 tbsp Mexican cocoa powder
- • ¼ tsp cinnamon, plus more for topping
- • ¼ tsp ancho chili powder
- • pinch of cayenne pepper
- • whipped cream
Preparation Method
- 1. Bring a skillet to medium heat. Slice Swirl Bread slices into thirds.
- 2. Mix sugar and cinnamon.
- 3. Add butter to skillet and cook Swirl Bread for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly toasted and buttery.
- 4. Remove from heat and toss Swirl Bread sticks in cinnamon a sugar coating evenly.
- 5. In a blender, add ice cream, milk, Coronado Dulce de Leche, Mexican cocoa powder, cinnamon, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. Pulse until smooth.
- 6. Pour milkshakes into glasses and top with whipped cream, sprinkle with cinnamon.
- 7. Add Swirl Bread churro sticks.
